thinking...
So this Sunday in relief society the lesson was about service. I have always loved doing service, but in my home ward the service was always placed in front of me. Since I have been married and in a student married ward the opportunity doesn't present it self to me.
I have had such a bad attitude lately, I feel like I just don't want to do anything. Well this lesson hit me like a bag of bricks! SMACK! I am still feeling it. I shouldn't be in a bad mood I have such a great life! I have a home, food and clothes. I have a good job that I like very much.
Then there was a part in the lesson that smacked me even HARDER, how many times have I thought of something nice to do and then thought "on my gosh, they will think I am stupid, I shouldn't." A story just like that was told in the lesson. About a girl who made a new tie for the prophet, walked up his stairs to his house, stopped, turned around and thought how stupid am I. Luckily Presidents Kimble's Wife was there to stop that girl, and to tell her to "Never push a Gracious thought out of your mind"
A quote to live by.
Thank you for reading the thoughts bunched up in my mind.
