Cuteness

Bathtime fun! He just started splashing in the tub and has a lo of fun doing it. He was a little ocupied with the camera so he didnt do it as much, but hes still cute!

We went to Jerrys sno cones! Everyone talks about thier unique sno cones. They had flavors like Napoleon Dynamite, Wedding cake, Spiderman, Tickle Me Sweet, Ninja Turtle, Dreamcicle, etc. Then they make it supreme, which means its layered with soft served vanilla ice cream. They were very good, but after the suger rush we got we decided next time we would split one!

2 Months old

Our little boy has been growing so MUCH! I wanted to wait to post this so I could have an actual weight for him. So at 10 weeks he weighs 14 lbs 14 oz (79.5 percentile), and is 23 1/2 inches long (85 percentile) AND he has been doing so many new things:

Check out his grip on the frogs’ leg! He doesn’t see something and grab yet but it will grab things and pull them towards his mouth and check them out. He does it a lot with blankets and cuddles with them. No more earrings for mom!

He is really good at Smiling at you and copying your facial expressions.

For example: If you stick your tongue out at him, he sticks his out and laughs! It’s a fun game we play.

He is discovering him, His hands, his ears, his hair, and his fingers! (He stares at his toes too!)

(within 2 mins he switched hands!)

Defiantly more aware of things, poor Jax :)

Look at our big boy holding his head up! Doing much better at this, of course some days he’s still floppy.

He gets a little bit of an attitude when he’s tired, but fights sleep so much during the day.

At night we are getting 4 to 4 1/2 hour stretch 2 times then a 3 hour, he can’t seem to make it longer. He is starving when he wakes up.

Helping Dad study

He’s a super chill baby, here’s an example ha ha (he just woke up)

Not interested at all in Tummy time. He will chew on his hands or on the blanket strings. My dad got him to rock a little back and forth and he will hold his head up well and tries to scoot, but rolling over he is not interested in at all.

What he is interested in is sitting up. He tries to sit up when he’s in the swing, or in his car seat. So now he doesn’t really like them. He likes to look around and loves looking at the ceiling fans.

He is starting to splash when we take him a bath, he kicks his legs and pushes them off the bottom of the tub.

He’s good at following objects with his eyes especially if they have eyes of their own!

We have a talker on our hands he loves to talk and hear his voice
and Now that hes bigger he has to have both hands outside of the changing table!

Look at my Beautiful Nephew! He look so good, hard to believe this was the 3ish pound little boy I saw in April!
I cannot wait to see him in December!

The Olsens Visit to Tennesse!

My Dad, Mom and sister Tamara were able to make it out here this week to visit us in Memphis. This is the first time they made it out to see where we live! We were very excited to show them around

Memphis. They were able to experience some Tornado warnings, heat advisory, good ol BBQ, and of course Guses Chicken.

Sitting with Tammy

Memphis zoo, we didn’t get to spend too much time there, it was so hot and Brock wasn’t handling it well. But I think they had fun even when if we couldn’t be there with.
A floppy hat from Grandpa

Before Brock was born, they had bought him this onesie in Yellowstone. It just happens to almost fit when they came to see him.

Playing at Michaels school. (the spot on my dads shirt was a Brock blow out. whoops)

We drove around to see the old churches, houses, and of course Rhodes College
