For Brocks first Halloween, he was the cutest...

the silliest...

Dinosaur around!

Can you tell which one he is?

 When Brockasaurus attacks:

I guess he wanted more

RAWR!!!!

The day started at the Zoo, we took our picture among the fall decor! There was a lot of people dressed up there, but we were sad that they were putting up Christmas Decorations already... Really its HALLOWEEN!

Sweet little dino all worn out. (we lost the socks at the zoo we had to back track to find them. So I took them off so we had them for later. It wasn't cold I promise)

The Dino family at the wards Trunk or Treat (there are spikes down our backs, you just can't tell)
Brockasaurus with Dadasaurus (aka Mikeasaurus)

Some of our friends at the Trunk or Treat! He is in Michaels class and she is 3 months older than Brock.

I think his first Halloween was a success he loved looking at all the people and costumes. He got a Halloween Bib from our neighbor; which he just stared at it, he got a sticker at the Truck or treat; which he just stared at! And he got to act like a Dinosaur all day.
Now he's asleep having Pumpkin dreams

One Beautiful Fall day....

Fall has finally come to Memphis! We have been loving watching the leaves change color and fall and going to walks in such a nice weather.

He loves watching the bright leaves fall! I

Starting to see some colors, It will be so pretty when all the leaves change!

We seem to find a lot of little critters in our yard!

We love playing in our bed with the window up so we can see everything outside. I had a lot of fun doing a little photo shoot today....

My Sister has been adding a few things she is grateful for on her blog when she does something new. It made me think of what I am grateful for. Which I should think more often (I have been pretty grumpy lately and there is no reason why I should be, I have a lot to be grateful for.)
So here you go:
1 Michael, really the best husband you could ask for. He works so hard at school so that he can provide for us!
2. Our baby! He really is such a joy and I need to be more grateful for him (sometimes it’s hard when he’s crying because he’s sick or when he wakes up every 3 hours.) but He makes me laugh every day and I can't even imagine my life without him!
3. Fall! It’s been so enjoyable and lifting my spirits when we go outside. I am loving the 70 degree weather!

Birthday, General Conference and BBQ

Michael’s birthday was on Wednesday, I love how it always lands on conference. I told him he was lucky because for his birthday he gets to listen to the prophet speak in his pajamas! I think that’s a good birthday. This whole week I have been trying to make him his favorite meals. We did chili dogs, Chicken Parmesan, Meatloaf, he went out to eat with his friend for Thai food and we went out for Mexican and at Bahama Breeze.

Michaels I love Dad mug from Brock and I

Michael has been using a new gadget (called a slit lamp) in his labs for looking at the eye. It gets really up close to the eye and the iris looks like strings. He said that it’s made of collagen. I tried to make the cake look like an eye like you were looking up close!
On Friday the School did a BBQ they had a new BBQ place cater that we have never tried, it was really good! They also had a couple of games you could play.

Michael and Mark battled it out Jousting Game.

Conference fun:

The Library Ladies that Michael works for gave Brock this tag blanket. He loves it!

We took this video in the car today when we went to Wal-Mart. I know I sound like an idiot but I would totally do it all the time if it made him laugh like this!

3 months!

3 months old and continuing to grow!

Tummy Time is now for baby pushups! He is getting really good at holding his body up and looking around. If you help him role half-way he can get himself the rest of the way and his arms unstuck
(Still could care less about rolling over from tummy to back)

He’s grabbing everything insight when he’s on his tummy so the blanket just gets bunched up around him.

He locked his arms and fell forward. I had to put it on because it's so funny!

Eating everything in sight! Or kissing his mom

getting good at pushing off things and holding his body up

He is sleeping in his crib at nights! I don't end up putting him in the swing or in our bed and he isn’t just awake in the middle of the night anymore either. (Maybe mom is just used to being awake at night)
However still not sleeping great, he has never slept more the 4 1/2 hours and the past 2 weeks it’s been every 2 1/2 to 3. I don’t know what’s changed. I don’t feed him every time he wakes up usually I can give him his binky or wrap him up better in his blanket and he falls back asleep until he gets hungry usually within that 4 1/2 hour time period.

Grabbing things and taking them to his mouth. Also he’s loving toys and playing on his play mat or bouncer! He actually plays instead of just stares at them. He hits them and kicks things and grabs and pulls.
That's right he is pulling himself up! If you sit him back a little he will pull himself up and forward only for a few seconds until he falls to the side or forwards.

He gets so excited standing up!

We have been going for a lot of walks to help him fall asleep during the day. When it’s cool in the mornings and it’s starting to cool down enough to go in the afternoons we make it on a walk. If I can get a small morning nap in he will fall asleep easier for an afternoon nap. We are lucky enough to live 8 minutes away (walking) to the Zoo; And about 10 minutes away (walking) to a cool park with some neat paths through some trees! So Walking has been nice for mom too!

Oh yeah he learned to drool this month. This is on a walk one morning

Being a little social bug. He is very interested in his friends and other people. He just started laughing at baby Paul on Tuesday because he was grabbing his feet. So Paul thought it was funny and was just smiling and talking away to Brock. Here he is just checking out cute McKinley!
He decided this month he doesn’t like cloths. He gets made when you put them on and loves it when you take them off. He loves the bath, and splashing. It gets all over his face and he doesn’t care either
He also has learned to scream they are happy screams sure but they are getting really loud. I never know when he is upset if he is playing because he’s just always so loud talking!
Just growing and growing by the minute! He is just getting heavy so it’s getting hard to hold him. I am going to have huge muscles when he starts walking.

And Just a cute picture to end the post!
