Sometimes when Krystal gets left alone with the baby, spontaneous photo shoots happen. This is today's masterpiece.

Flordia Thanksgiving Trip

We got the opportunity to go to Florida and visit with Adam and Christie. They blessed Mckayla on the 18th of November and we stayed until Thanksgiving. We really needed a vacation and had a lot of fun. Brock loved his cousins and Aunt and Uncle.

November 17th, we had decided to start our drive at midnight so Brock could sleep most of the day. Well we got everything ready and out in the car and then Michael went to bed early so he would be ok to drive. When we got out to the car at Midnight our car wouldn’t start. We tried a couple of times but no luck. so we backed everyone back up and went to bed. In the morning we asked our friend Sam to come jump us. We were hoping it was just the battery but we were not sure what it could be. Auto Zone didn’t open until 7:30 so we knew we were not going anywhere anytime early in the morning. It did end up being the battery and the people at AutoZone were so nice to us. He changed our battery before we finished paying.

So we didn’t leave until after 9.

Surprisingly Brock did amazing (I say surprisingly because he hates being in the car for quick trips around town) and we made it to Adams and Christies at about 5.

 

November 18th was the baby blessing, Mckayla was an angel and Adam did a great job on the blessing. It was fun to visit with Christies Dad Byron.

The rest of the Day we just visited with each other which were nice since we hadn’t seen anyone for so long!

 

 Brock felt right at home with everyone. He loved everything about everyone!

On Monday we went out to eat and to Wreck it Ralph! It was a very cute movie and all the kids did really well.

Brock had some other solids and decided he needed to feed himself.

On Tuesday we made volcanos, rockets, crafts (a Christmas Surprise!) and messes!

On Wednesday we took a trip to the Beach.

A family of sting rays! Just about the coolest thing. They jumped up out of the water then started swimming right for us on the pier.

There is jelly fish in the water. I tried to get a picture but it was hard.

The food! It was great, thanks everyone for a great Thanksgiving.

We drove home early on Friday, it was a great trip and we were glad we could visit with the Flordia Coles before they become the Oregon Coles :)
