We had an ultra sound on the 2nd of May. (This post is SO late I know). We left for Idaho for a family visit on the 4th so we decided to do something fun for our gender reveal.
Sweet baby!
Looks like its going for that thumb :)
Here's the front of it, after a few times of putting it together it stopped working to flip it over so here is what it would of looked like putting it together on the back side:
That'ts right another Boy! So the Dora puzzle was not my fault, I went to Walgreen's to get a puzzle and they only had Hello Kitty, Barbie, Minnie Mouse, and Princesses. I thought they would at least have an animal of some sort!
Hes measuring small but other than that he looks healthy. And I don't know if he will ever have a name honestly. He might just be little boy for the rest of his life.
I loved that she printed this out for me. I love baby toes :)
Sorry this is really really late, all the pictures were taken on time but I just have not had time to post anything.
Wears a size 12-18 month with some 18 month mingled in, a size 3 in diapers and is about 22.5 lbs according to the last neuro visit.
I actually think I'll start off with what's been going on with his seizures. He had 6 seizures this month (April 4th-May 4th) not at a certain time like the first ones, even some more that he turned blue around his mouth. Every time he had one they raised the dose on the medication. Which would make him digress in his skills that he had been working on, and we would struggle with everything (eating, sleeping, playing) until he got used to it but he would have another seizure as soon as that happened. The dose was raised so much that the neurologist felt that he was maxed out on the medication he was on, and it was not working for him and we needed to try something else. So we did, but we continued to keep him on the old medication and (just now we are about half way done with weaning him off of it). So I feel that all of the things he learned to do is a great achievement! There were some days that he didn't want to do anything but be held, and some days he didn't want anything, and we had some good days.
He loves his Binky! He would do anything to get it, And he surprises us when he finds it.
He also loves toothbrushes, he steals ours and we have had to buy new ones since we cant seem to find where they were put.
He pulls up on everything! and stood by himself for the first time on 4/16/13 no hands! He loves to do that now just stand and then he laughs and falls.
This kid LOVES books he pulls them all out and looks at them.
He's a master crawler and goes as fast as he can if he's sees somewhere he's not suppose to go open "just for him"
Grandpa Olsen got him this fun walking toy which he walks back and forth on!
He's getting adventurous climbing up on things all the time anything he can manage. He doesn't like his walker anymore because its too constricting.
We tried some new activities this month to keep him distracted from everything that's going on. This was a favorite!
Also playing with kitchen stuff!
He went from crawling to sitting 4/6/13
He walks just holding one of our hands
He is starting to point to things he likes, animals mostly
We love our cute boy and we are just praying this medication will work for him. We have missed the happy boy we have. But as you can tell even though hes been having a hard time hes still as cute as can be.
