Brock Funnies and updates

Brock has been growing so much its been hard to keep up with him! He is now a walker, nearly 100 percent (He has been for about 3 weeks now)! We also have been really introducing shoes to get him to walk. He does pretty good now that he is walking so well. He does have very wide feet, and we found out that a few of the shoes we have for him won't work and may be the reason he hates shoes when his poor little feet get pitched. The moment you take his shoes off he has the sweatiest feet ever. But sandals are way too east to pull off we have lost 2 pairs already.
now that he is a walker things start appearing weird places or disappearing! We loves throwing things over the baby gates so the bathroom and kitchen always have to weirdest things in them. He is getting tall enough he can pull things out of drawers so we find kitchen utensils though out the house. He threw my camera charger in my dresser drawer so it was lost most of the time since his birthday. when I found it he ran off with the camera and we lost that for a couple weeks.
He loves carrying things around in baskets, buckets, bowls, and the strainer. Its like he pretends to cook because he will swish things around in them like mom.
He is getting to be a hide and seek champ whenever things get quiet I know that he is hiding somewhere so we have to go find him. He will stay pretty still too until you get close then he starts getting excited and flipping around. He usually hiding spots are behind doors, in closets, and in his tent.
He loves peek a boo as well. That's how we get him to be happy when he wakes up (he's not super happy when he wakes up ever). Whenever we do laundry there is a few peek a boo sessions.

Balls and throwing has really been a big hit. I got a bunch of dollar store balls and he is in heaven. He throws them everywhere. He says ball really well and we think he says "throw" but it also sounds like 'go" so we aren't sure if he is trying to play fetch with us or showing us how he can throw.

We had another EEG recently and he did really well. The tech mentioned how even though he was sleepy and didn't sleep he still laid there with me and didn't cry. the Doctor was pleased with the results and told me that she wants him to self wean off his medication. He was 22 lbs. in May when we started the medication and now he is up to 24lbs but still on the same dose. He will continue to grow and get bigger and so his medication dose will be less then what he should be on. We are just praying it will still be enough and he wont have seizures and slowly self wean. The neurologist really wants us to focus on language with him and cognitive skills (if you do this/this will happen). Its the area in the brain that the seizures are in, she's not telling us he will have a problem but she just wants us to spend close attention to it and really work on it.

He doesn't say no but he will shake his head when he doesn't want something usually closing his eyes as well. Like I cant even see it I don't want it that bad!

Michael always gets in trouble when he tries to feed him something, Brock will always take it out of his mouth and try and put it in Michaels. If Michael doesn't take it Brock will smash it in his face!

He had 5 teeth for about a month and a half and finally got one more in recently (8/14/13). So we are up to 6! He loves to use his teeth for good and evil. He will chomp his food so he can hear a crunch! but he is also a BIG biter, so far just mom and dad no one else yet. (knock on wood)

Playing chase has been going on recently. He will run away from you and hide. He also thinks its funny to chase you too, if he catches you though watch out for his teeth!!

Hi and Bye aren't really words we say yet. Although I think he has said Bye to Michael once. He will wave bye and blow kisses. To say "Hi" will clap and point at you, then reach for you. I feel like everyone tries to get him to give "hi fives" which all they will get is Brock staring at them. Then maybe clapping and pointing.

When he gets up on our bed he will do somersaults!

His favorite toy is Balls but he also likes things that Shake and blocks. He shakes everything and if it makes noises he will carry it around and shake it. He just started stacking blocks. He loves to knock them over!

We play the "put it in game" I made a little toy that he can put pom poms in and then sake them out. We also have a monkey in a barrel game. He will also put snacks in all sorts of holes he finds. We find snacks in his toys and in the kitchen drawers often.

He reads books to us now. His little Jabbers are so cute!!

(he looks like he is fussy but he wasn't he was giving my belly a hug) Its also a pillow often. He will blow raspberries on it. Its been hot so a lot of times I will roll up my shirt so I can cool off. Well Brock has started to do the same!
