Boys,bow ties, and fun
So my friend Sam has recently got a little business started making these cute little bow ties. I mentioned to her she could always use my boys as models. And that conversation led us to a fun little photo-shoot idea, which led us to Christmas card photos. I have no idea if she will actually use the pictures for her new business but it was a fun photo shoot. I will however throw in a little shout out to her. These adorable bow ties she is selling for 10 dollars each. They are beautifully done, and she really will do them in any size. If you would like to buy one let me know!
Paul and Brock
They seriously play so well together, they are just both fun little boys!
Were did Brock go???
And that shots over....
He just decided to join their family
I am sad this shot is blurry but I was laughing so hard! He posed perfectly for this shot.
I can only imagine what they are talking about
Here when Will didn't know where mom was....
the very next shot... There's my hand and a peaceful smile.
It was a fun day, really a blast, the boys ran around like crazy the whole time. We had lots of blurry shots with them going going and going! We did get some nice photos for our Christmas cards though

The boys room
I pretty much finished everything with the boys room and I wanted to show it off! Here's the Dinosaur room. (I did mostly everything before Will was born but wanted to get pictures of them before I put it up.)
The top photos Michael had in his room as a little boy. I thought it was special to have them in our boys room.

My mom helped me make the rag rug, as you can tell we have too many toys.
Its a crazy blessed life we have
We have had the craziest few weeks! Some of the most random things have happened too us and we just can't help but laugh. And share:
So I tried before Will was born to make some fun activities for Brock for when I nurse Will. One was a sensory bucket with bugs, snakes, and lentils to hide them in. He loved it and asked to get it out often. Usually we kept it contained to one room but one day in the middle of nursing Will, Brock took handfuls of lentils into every room and threw them all over the floor. It only took a few minutes to cover the house. I hurried and put it away but they also stuck to you feet and ended up in all corners. That was the end of all sensory buckets until he's older! We continue to find lentils everywhere. Michael has made a "lentil jail" we have a strong feeling we won't get rid of theses lentils ever!
Another day Will volcano threw up everywhere so Michael took Brock in the kitchen to start dinner and to entertain him a little since Will, me, the bed, and the floor had throw up that needed to be cleaned. He decided to do the pudding paint and got Brock in his highchair. Well apparently dads don't know how much food coloring to put in things... And Brock was dyed blue! We had to use a little dawn to get it off of him! And even then he was blue for a day. Apparently pudding that late wasn't a great idea for the stinker because the rest of the night he was hyper! Crazy running around. At one point in time he was full out running into things. But it was a fun night, dads are the best!
Brock loves his brother so much, a little too much sometimes. He shares everything with him, feeds him, wants to hold him constantly, his hand, his head, anything. I catch myself saying "Brock just leave your brother alone" but he won't, selective hearing on that one. This one day I was getting Brock's medicine ready and he got this juice out of the fridge. 2 sec later I realize he had it and was sharing it with his brother who I had stuck in the car seat next to the kitchen. He had poured it all over Will. And then proceeded to drink the rest. He held on to that juice container all day. I had given him some graham crackers for a snack after breakfast and a little later he fed me his juice. As you probably guessed it he dipped his grahams in the juice. Like dad does in his milk. So I got a taste of peach soggy graham crackers. I think we had enough juice after that one.
So we desperately needed an oil change so we decided to get out of the house and go to Walmart. We needed a few things from there as well. Needless to say we did not get an oil change and the Walmart has horrible customer service in the auto department after a good hour and half there was still 2 cars in front of us. So we left but stopped by Papa Murphys it's on the way home so the long trip was still worth it. We got dessert cinnamon pizza and we cooked it right when we got home. The cinnamon sugar mixture fell of the pizza and on to the bottom of the oven were it started to burn and smoke filled our house. We thought it was on fire because of all the smoke. Luckily it wasn't. But we spent most of the rest of the evening outside fanning out our house. Luckily our neighbor was home, we love Neysa! So Brock had her cats to chase and I had someone to visit with, as Michael tried to get the smoke out.
Brock has picked up on things and is learning lots of new words. We try to get him to be quiet next to Wills door since he has such a hard time sleeping anyways. So now every time Will does wake up he shushes us. Like its our fault he woke up. One day he stood guard and shushed me every time I walked in the hall.
He recently learned how to knock and this he needs to knock on everything... including Wills head
this has been really fun....
When Halloween came I was shocked it was already here. I did want to do some Halloween activities but I am glad that he isn't old enough to care we didn't go trick or treating... And we really did not need candy. we did Orange colored pudding paint with monster eyes (raisins). A glow in the dark bath (it was raining so it worked out well the bathroom was dark). And after Brock's nap a ghost hunt since he loves ghosts! For dinner we had Jack o Cheeseburgers
Brock learned how to say his friend's name (Paul) and a few nights he has woken up in the middle of the night saying his name. I guess he's been having fun dreams about him.
Brock also learned how to say beebee woh (baby Will) He starts out learning words by just saying the first sound or syllable. fish is ffff hhh. Baby was just bee for awhile. I super loved it. At a play group that a surprisingly made it too one of the little girls had a baby doll. He held it and found its eyes and nose, gave it a kiss... and then bite her foot...
We went to the library and he found an stuffed elephant that he yelled Beebee!! and held it and hugged it.
We have been trying to do some fun things on Saturday so we can all get out and spend sometime with each other. We took Brock to Petsmart and checked out all the animals. He can tell you what a fish, snake, dog and cat says. I really need to video tape cat. Its hilarious. He was in heaven!
The Library was the next week he said "boooo-nk" for book and ran around pulling books. We got a work out. They have a fun little house glass house with little seats in it and he ran in and out of that forever. He would walk in and sit next to the kids in there.
the book Brock decided to carry around. He found it on his own. I thought it was funny
I was playing with him out side and he wanted to spin around in circles. So we did, then he layed on the grass like this:
for about 2-3 mins then wanted to "Sppp" again
here's some more crazy pictures of this past month
