Today was Wills blessing day. we were so excited to have so many family members here to celebrate Will. This trip was a chance for many family to get to meet Will for the first time. A lot of family was sick or couldn't make it, not to mention all the Tennessee family as well. So we decided to hurry and throw up some pictures so they can see.
The circle included both of Wills Grandfathers, his great granddad, his uncle Adam, his uncle Riley, and the Bishop. His dad gave him a wonderful blessing full of wonderful things for him. I am so excited to watch these boys grow.
Thank you everyone who traveled to come spend this day with us. We missed everyone who couldn't make it.

Ice-pocalypse
We had a rather exciting weekend.12/06/13 Well I guess all of Memphis did. So last year I remember we had an Ice storm and it was kind of cool but nothing special. It left a thin film of ice on somethings. So this year when it said we are going to have an ice storm I tried not to panic like the rest of the city. It didn't really work considering they put up a "state of emergency" and my Facebook buzzed of this horrible storm of 94 were so many people lost power some up to 3 weeks!
If it was just me and Michael, and/or we lived in a better insulated home my panic levels would have been lower.... But I have a 10 week old and a 17 month old (who hates wearing socks since he slides everywhere on the wood floors) And would only put on shoes if he was able to go outside.
So 5 am Michael gets a text NO school! Yay, so we just hung around ate dinner and played, until about 12:30 when we hear an explosion outside, and yup our power goes out.
We really learned about how insulated our place is. I just put sweats on the boys and got some games out. Michael went to go get gas in the car and some "mom calm down snacks" Brock didn't want to sleep to take a nap. We played for a few hours trying keep up the warm in our home. We did finally get Brock to sleep at about 2:30. We kept water boiling on the stove a couple times to warm the place back up. And we kept looking at the MLGW site to see when they might fix the power. There was 148 fixes in the city. I was hoping we were going to get fixed soon. It started to get cold and dark. Luckily our friends let us come over. We would of been pretty sad in the dark. As soon as Brock woke up we headed out. We used our Gas stove to keep our house warm by boiling water. It ended up being just fine and I felt silly to panic. I was just worried about my babies getting to cold. It was fun to hang out with our friends! The power returned about 8:30. After the boys were in bed so we just left the next morning. Of couse no one slept good, it gave us good practice for our trip home. Brock likes his own bed, and the boys wake each other up. Oh well.. Here's our pictures of the storm! (It ended up being a tree falling on the power line and knocking out our block)

Decorating for Chirstmas
The Pile!
He really had a blast decorating the tree! And everything else! he is actually really good at keeping the decorations on the tree and not the house (knock on wood) He rearranges it every morning!
November
Brock updates: Brock has really come so far in speaking. He will repeat the words we say when we say them. And he is getting the hang of what words mean. He knows what socks and shoes are , can say them, and will bring them to you if you ask. He knows how to say slide and swing and will point to them and say it! Also cheese ( zeese) , Juice, oooice) drink, (nink), done, jump, splash, up, kiss, Baby... etc. dog is still woof! If you say do you want to go outside he says outside and will run and get his shoes...and He's really understanding and saying the words no, stop, and don't. That's fun...
He's really just a fun little boy he has a funny personality and will do silly things. He likes to hide and jump out and he's starting to tease and run away.
We are also so excited for Brock to come and play with all of his cousins. He loves kids doesn't even matter how old they are.
Michael had a Break for Thankgiving, it ended up being a busy week! I was in charge of the decorations for our Relief Society activity the Thursday before the break and I found out the missionary sisters didn't have any coats! Silly girls are from Utah and Idaho so I know they had a coat before they left. I know it doesn't get super cold here but it's been down to the middle 40s. So we went and took them shopping on there p-day since they didn't have a car! We went to 2 doctors appointments and went to Gus's. we went shopping at a quite few stores and got some things for our ward. We got some freezer meals done as well. Then we fed the missionaries and sent them home with a few lunches. This is all before Thanksgiving. Basically we were so exhausted that the day after Thanksgiving we just laid around. Brock didn't even get bored, we ordered our favorite Chinese place with the best Pad Thai!! Saturday we studied our lessons since I taught Relief society and Michael taught Gospel Principles. Sunday we delivered a meal to the couple Missionaries since his wife is really sick. I love our church callings and how much they allow us to serve! The Missionaries here are becoming such good friends of ours since we do so much with them. especially the sisters! We were full of the Thanksgiving spirit!
Here's November in Pictures! They are better at telling stories anyways
We became the parents with no decorations lower than the very tip top of everything :)
Will had his first stroller ride.... not sure he loved it! This is at a play group at the Zoo!
I might have put baby powder on Brocks belly to entertain him enough to change Wills diaper and now he keeps wanting to do it again!
Snuggle naps!
His toys from his toy box spread all over the house!
He found the baby sling and played with it for quite awhile!
Fun Turkey paint craft!
I have so many pictures like this..
hmmm.....
yum!
We got into the sour cream....
and shared it with his brother!
He wants to share it with me too!
Jamming out
Super Dad! Our huge pile of clean clothes in the background it was awful...
Thanksgiving was the end of this month we got together with some friends from our ward. I had so much fun making pies with her the night before and we had a nice dinner the day of! So thankful for our friends here!
Whew done with the photo shoot....
So a lot of people talk about how similar my 2 boys look! Which it is so very true, but there are some differences! This is Will and Brock at 9-10 weeks old. They are the same length but Brock was a little bigger. I think his weight was better distributed and he had huge chunky lovable thighs! Wills weight seem to be all in his torso. I love his little legs, and feet!
