A year review

Up close:

Wills Birthday Celebrations

We are lucky enough to have family around for our kids birthdays now. However after looking at the calendar we realized Michael was going to be gone to an Optometry conference on his birthday. That and family members medical reasons or not being able to make it and well the fact that we just moved and I still didn't have things together we didn't do a big birthday party. Well it seemed impossible. So we did 3 little parties.

We did a birthday breakfast at my parents house

Enjoying some gifts from his Grandma and Grandpa Olsen. The breakfast was complete with Waffles strawberries whip cream and bacon

Then another day we got to go to Grandma Coles house for a birthday lunch. With some Aunts, uncles and cousins too!

We had a loaded baked potato casserole and cheese cake!

The day after his birthday we did a birthday cake a few presents (I have had for months) and you know smashing a cake.

Basketball cake!

Will and all of his birthday presents!! (minus some clothes Grandma Cole gave him cause they were needed and in the wash... Sorry)

Brock was so so sick with a fever poor boy. But I think new toys and birthday stuff helped him feel better.

Brock decided it was his turn and Will was done playing in the corner:

I think Will had a great first Birthday. Thank you everyone who helped make his day so special!

Will is 1!!

we got a new couch too haha.

Stats:
22 lbs 11 oz- 75 percentile
30.5 inches- 73 percentile

wears 12-18 and 18 month shirts and 12 month pants
size 4 in shoes
size 4 in diapers

This boy is a happy boy always smiling and is just a cheerful little boy.

I have been working hard on getting him to go down the stairs better. Hes actually doing better. He can get down sometimes but turfs it sometimes too.

I feel better about letting him sit on couch now because hes getting way better at getting off of it too.

Hes getting really good at climbing... which makes for a lot of big bonks. :(

He can now get on our little bike we have. He loves it and plays on it all the time.

He has always loved balls but now he can throw them! Its so fun he loves to do it and gets so excited when he does.

Speaking of getting excited, when he does get excited he shrugs his shoulders, straightens his arms, and shrieks and smiles.

His new words are yumm! duck, and yay.

Hes getting more picky in his food choices but maybe that's cause hes had ice cream and cake for the first time this month. He really likes ice cream

gives the biggest hugs and always gives you one in the morning or after his naps, or when you come home.

Only 6 teeth but it doesn't stop him from eating grandmas apples.

Will was playing and I showed him himself on my phone.

The second, Hes a big cheesier
A good eating day ha ha
This happens a lot... I mean a lot!
Cute picture of him watching a show. I love how his hands are on his knees.
Throwing a tantrum because his dad shut the door, he was going potty.
 Climbing on his bike

His sleep has been so bad this month. like up for hours at night and waking up every hour. When we took him to his 12 month check up we found out he had an ear infection. With no signs of a fever too. I think something else is up too though.. This picture is Will up at 12:30, He didn't go to bed til 2:30.

 LOVES loves loves slides.
 Bonk evidence

He tried his own ice cream for the first time this month. Pretty much in love:

 ICECREAM
Full of mischief, him and his brother tag teamed for this one, Brock opened the door and Will got out the gold fish and dumped it out.
Starting to try out a spoon

playing peek a boo in our "cave"
Big boy car seat

I was so excited for him to be one. even though hes been a toddler for a little while. of course now I have a 1 year old and a 2 year old... yikes
