Dying eggs

This year we decided to go for it with dying eggs with Brock, he loves making messes so lets let him make a mess. I was talking to my sister about it and she told me that she found a cool idea to use Kool aid baking soda and vinegar to dye the eggs. Bubbles are Brock's favorite thing right now so it was a big win.
We put baking soda about 1/3 C. and a pack of Kool aid in a container and poured a small cup of vinegar over it.

It scared Brock the first time but loved it after.

then he loved it so much he didn't want to stop!

Easter

Well I guess the first part of Easter was at our ward party. We wont go into any details about it because it was a rough day but the one good thing about it was that it had an awesome Easter egg hunt. The primary did a great job and I went with Brock and found some eggs. He thought it was hilarious! I said hey look at that what is it?? and he laughed and laughed and grabbed it and then would either give it a kiss or he would open it and throw whatever was in it out. They did a good job not doing candy. There was bouncy balls, tattoos, stickers, goldfish, erasers, teddy grahams (bunny shaped) and bunny marshmallows.  I didn't get any pictures though. :(

the day of Easter the boys got there baskets

just little things like: bunny ears, crazy straws, silverware, a new shirt for Brock, paint. rice crispies, and teddy grahams, baby puffs, squeeze foods and some toys made by me!

Now I am going to brag just a little... I made Brock a fishing set. Its really neat because it has a draw string so it carries all the fish.

I only had a pattern for the fish, I free handed the rest, I have been working on it for awhile. Crocheting is just something I do to let out my frustrations. I like doing it because it relaxes me and it allows me to be creative very quietly, and recline, and watch a show! I also made the bunny Easter basket and an owl rattle for Will!
Ok enough Bragging. I got the boys all dressed and the day was already rough with Brock just so fussy. So I took them outside anyways to take some pictures before church and well Brock refused to have anything to do with it. Finally I decided to try one more time.... and sat Brock down next to Will. Brock looked at Will and pushed him down so Will hit his head on the fence. And that was the end of pictures.

After Church we came home for a much needed nap and I got the cheesecake decorated and the ham cooking as well as green beans for Easter dinner. after Brock woke up we headed to our friend in the wards house who had the rest of dinner there, and another family joined us. After dinner Brock got to do another Easter egg hunt and this time we got some pictures.

When we came back I tried one more time for pictures of the boys. (I had got puked on so I had changed and Michael was in his gym shorts so not us)
The very best I could do.

Botanical Gardens

Michael and I got a cool binder together of things for the Missionaries to do on Pdays and as we decided we needed to take our own advice and get out and see somethings while we could. Lucky for us we can go on free days or pay what you can days. We finally made it the Memphis Botanical Gardens. There is a few sections of the garden, one is My big backyard which is a fun place for the kids to play in like little houses and stuff for the kids to play in. And fun musical instruments even kid size worm holes.

This is a cute picture right before we super traumatized him by helping him go down the slide. He didn't freak out until the first turn then he came unglued. He really doesn't like closed in slides we realized.
 Will Ready to go!
 Music!
 The music house

I love this picture of them

Picnic dinner, I was laughing because Michael said hey baby say Cheese, and he picked up his slice of cheese.

This is how close the fish come up to you!
 Its so beautiful!

 Cute boy
As you can see the trees were blooming
This is a lovely picture that I almost got attached my a goose for. Michael had to come to the rescue. It was worth it. Look at that swan perfectly placed there.

Will the baby food model?

I was feeding Will and I noticed that he puffs up his cheeks after he takes a bit. Its so funny and I knew I had to get a picture of it! Instead of doing it again he turned into a big smiley ham. I felt like I was taking pictures of a model.

My favorite, oh his face just melts me!!

And finally a cheeks picture. :)
