No tv = crafts

Inpiration from BHG.com

A church bag!

Here is a few things I have done with my time since we dont have a TV. :) There are more but they are surprises so I wont share yet.

Baked Bacon Mac and Cheese

1 lb of pasta
1 16oz package of bacon cooked, more or less if desired
4 cups milk
1/3 cup flour
1/4 cup italian cheese blend
3 cups of chedar cheese
1 tsp galic salt
1 tsp pepper
add other seasonings to taste, parsley, oregono
preheat oven to 350 and butter a 3 qt baking dish.
boil pasta til al dente and drain
In a large skillet whisk milk seasonings and flour until sauce becomes thick. Remove from heat add cheeses and bacon (cut into bite size pieces). Stir til cheeses are melted.

In a 3 qt baking dish add pasta and sauce. Top with more bacon and cheese or with bread crumbs and bake at 350 for 25-35 min, until bread crumbs are golden or cheese is melted.
makes 6 servings

(this picture is 1/2 the recipe)

Other options: baked chicken mac and cheese, or add hot dogs.
