Christmas Announcement!

This was a special Christmas for us because we had some exciting news to tell our famlies. We had everything planned for our big announcement before we left. And the Wait nearly killed us.

We had my Dad for Chirstmas. This was how we told them.

They were some happy GRANDPARENTS!

I let Michael decide how to tell his family. He wanted me to make his mom card (whenever I have made a card in the past he always signs it something like "look at this cute card I made you" or "I spent a lot of time on this card for you mom" So I made a Card and he wrote " I made this card and this BABY!"

Another very happy Grandma!

Turkey Time!

Happy Thanksgiving Everyone! We just wanted to say a few things that we are thankful for,
Michael says he is thankful for Family.
Krystal says she is thankful for Family as well, but also thanksful for the gospel and for freinds, so we didnt have a lonely thanksgiving away from our family.

This is our first attempt in cooking a  turkey! We didnt do this alone. I am thankful for all the helpful hints that we got, even old ladies at Walmart gave us some hints.

Michael making gravy. Thanks to Mom and Dad Cole we got it right and it tasted so good!

This is our Banana pudding! Michael is an artist.

With everyone seatbelted in (even the turkey!) We made our way to Mississippi for Thanksgiving dinner with some of the students that Michael goes to school with. We where the Heros of the dinner with our turkey and gravy. But the real heros is everyone who helped us! Thank you!

Go Tigers!

Michaels freind gave us tickets to go see the University of Memphis play. They only lost by one point. It was fun even though it got pretty dang cold and they lost.

Memphis Zoo

For residents of Memphis they have a free day to go to the zoo and other things around Memphis. Today for Michael's birthday we decided to go check it out! We only had a couple of hours but it was cool what we did get to see, we will definitely have to go back!

Heres some pictures of what we saw:

This guy was sending out electricity through the tank and everytime he did, a light bulb would go off.
This bird is Michael's Pokey bird. It tried to bite him through the glass.

Michael says "he was making shifty eyes at him"

I loved that we got this picture, So sweet!
We can take a trip back home, we just have to go to the zoo!

Happy Birthday Michael!

Michael says "He is getting old"
We made yummy Thai food on his birthday, and today we went to the Zoo!

Licking his birthday cake! (I made him a black forest cake for his birthday, I tried to make it look like a eye chart. (The icing wouldnt stick to the frosting) When I gave it to Michael he just stared at it for a second. So I said... Its a Eye Chart. He burst out laughing and said OH I LIKE IT!
(The blue was the name, It looks black in the picture but its really blue)

Michael's Convocation

Michael Convocation was on Sept 22, which is a ceremony where all the new students come to receive their white coats and learn the Doctors Oath.

I couldnt get very close to the stage, because the seating was reserved for honored alumni and their family. But lucky for us they hired a photographer and a older student came and took pictures for the school then gave it to us. Michael was right up front in the isle so we got lots of pictures of him!

(even some of me, but I won't post those.)

Welcoming the class of 2015 as they walked in.

It was a full house.

More students coming in.

I liked this pictures because it shows how neat the church was.

Delta Fair and Garcia Circus

We went to the Delta Fair for Labor day. It was very different then any onther fairs we have been too. They had art from highschool students, the biggest produce, cooking classes, carnival rides and carnival food. Which are the same as state fairs, but it also had pig races, a circus, a mime, a circus side show, lawn mower races, camel rides,an exoctic petting zoo, and tons southern food! It was a very fun day. here are a few pictures:

Waterbuffalo anyone?

Garcia circus was really neat, it was few in the fair grounds, this is the acrobat. He did seriously crazy tricks while spinning in circles.

Human CANNON!

That blur is him! At the very top of the tent!
