Happy Birthday Day!

I have been so excited for Brock's birthday! I have been collecting things since March for his birthday! I went to consignments sales, shopped on eBay, collected things from Craigs list, and had help from a friend finding pieces at good will. I got some seriously good deals!! (not to mention a free blocks train from Huggies points, Thanks Alison and Brit!) And I made an Elmo and some play food. Family sent gifts for him as well. This boy was spoiled!!  The anticipation have been driving me (and Michael) crazy! And the day finally came.
So Michael and I talked and we decided it wouldn't be best for him to wake up to presents/decorations since he doesn't wake up happy often. But that we would just surprise him later. Then we decided that Michael should take Brock out to breakfast. (the best thing for his birthday his dad will always be home!) So Brock got to spend some one on one time with his dad and I set it up! (and Will got a nap).

 I told him that he could open his presents and he instantly went right for Elmo... (it was in a bag) HE LOVED IT. He wanted Elmo to sit by him. (the whole time)

 We had to take a breather/ play with all the toys before opening anymore!

After presents we went outside and ate watermelon and took of 4th of July pictures. Then we played in the water and grilled, the Sister Missionaries came by too! :)

Brock is 2!

Yesterday I decided to take the boys to the Botanical Gardens, Brock is turning 2 so I wanted some cute pictures of him. It was a beautiful day, not too hot but it was super sunny so it was hard to not get shadows in the pictures. They had a blast and I got some pictures I love, so it was a good day!
