 Brock with his Fennec fox

Brock with our new niece this year!

I wasn't feeling well and Brock took care of me. haha binkie and everything. It turned into that I was a baby obviously. But he's pretty good at taking care of his mom.

 Star wars in 3D
 Its been cold....
Balloon drop fro new years! We had a fun new years even though Michael didn't get home til 7:30. We had cinnamon rolls, chips and salsa, pizza pockets, spinage artichoke dip, and sparkling cider. Or activities included glowstick dancing, balloon drop, counting down to 8, poppers with streamers, party hats and moise makers!  The balloon drop was a fun idea but it kept falling. Then right when Michael came home the wind from the door opening made it fall! hahaha the boys thought it was magical.

He liked the sparking cider... or not

Having fun going back and looking at this past year, it was a big year! A hard one at many times, a happy one lots but just a big year. It included:
Graduating optometry school
Brock being seizure free and medication free
3 moves
Starting our own practice
Turning 3/2/27/31
Going camping for the first time as a family
Family trips to Las Vegas/Memphis/Wyoming/Idaho
3 new nieces
A new car
2 sisters welcomed home from their missions
Being close to family and all the fun it's been
Exploring cities
And last but not least Announcing baby #3 coming this summer

That right!!!!!!! a new baby coming. post coming soon!

That leaves us with our New year resolution: which includes
Brock: learn letters and go to preschool!
Will: completely potty trained! Staying in nursery....
Dad: keep going, keep going with making his practice better
Mom: I summed up what I wanted to work on this year by focusing on one word. Love.
Love for our neighbors and friends. Love for our families. Love for my kids and my life being more grateful for what I have.
LOVE!

Making Christmas

My crochet nativity that I made though out the year. I was very excited about how it turned out. Even Michael said that it was special!

So this year for Christmas we did a count down to Christmas chain. We did various activities and I got some pictures of some but not of everything we did. I wanted to write it down so I could remember for next year. Even if it was just a summery. We did 4 Christmas books that we opened (one for each week) The boys probably liked this the most and I plan on doing more for next year. We also did "learn a Christmas song" a few times, watch a Christmas movie (a few times). Ward party, Santa at the zoo, angel tree, can food drive, make Christmas candy, make cookies, decorate the tree, make Christmas crafts/ornaments, decorate a gingerbread house, play with the nativity and tell the story, and go to the Christmas village (sadly my dad has all the pictures and Ill get them eventually). I think that was it! It was a fun Christmas countdown!
here are a few pictures, and Christmas morning pictures too.

Brock and Will did not like Santa but loved the reindeer! These are a few Santa at the zoo pictures.

 Boys with the tree
Nativity story told by Brock: Mary and Joseph road on the donkey actor to Bethlehem. Mary had baby Jesus. And angel came and told the Shepard and the wiseman about baby Jesus. The Shepard (using his crook) kidnapped baby Jesus and carried him away in the Christmas tree. (See picture above). Mary and the wiseman looked for the baby. The wiseman found baby Jesus and gave him gifts, gold a slinkie and brrr.. The end

Some Christmas morning pictures. On Christmas morning Brock slept in til 9. I was going crazy! haha I got Will and Michael some Gosners chocolate milk and Brock some soda. Will didn't care about the presents and bee lined to the chocolate milk. Later that day we made it to grandpa and grand-mom Olsen house for Christmas dinner and more presents. we got home and played! It was a great day! thank you everyone who helped make it so.
